Make-Up Assignment for Missed Performances
Students that missed our live performance and recording on Wednesday, December 16th must turn in an alternate assignment as described below,
Here are their three articles. Articles 1 and 2 are a pair. 3 is by itself. Students will write a synopsis of the article(s) and answer the additional higher level thinking questions.
The first is about music and how it helps the body.

Q: How has participating in choir or listening to music affected your behavior and emotions? Write about your experience.
Second article: http://www.greenwichschools.org/uploaded/faculty/kristen_mccarty//ImpactStudy09_guide.pdf
Q: Are the two articles stating the same health benefits? What is the same and what is different? Why do you think choral music is declining in schools? How can Glen Rock prevent this from happening to our school?
Option 2: Impact Study #9
Q: How has participating in choir or listening affected your behavior and emotions? Write about your experience. How can Glen Rock students, parent, community members, etc. use this article to better our own program?
